Third Coffee of the Day

IMG_2631

Long black for breakfast. Cappuccino at lunch. Espresso martini for dinner. No excuse needed to make the 'Third Coffee of the Day' an alcoholic one. Starting with vodka, add a touch of white chocolate to sweeten the deal and finished with that bitter coffee hit to perk you up for the evening ahead.

Gin & Tonic Martini

IMG_2677

Exactly as the name suggests, this cocktail is simply a regular gin & tonic...but in martini style. Using just gin,  Thomas Henry Tonic Syrup and a zesty twist of lemon, the boring gin & tonic is transformed into a classic and sophisticated martini.

DEAR US LIVE 20.09.13 22UHR

dearus2 copy

Founded in December of 2011, Dear Us' music touches through the voice of Dariuz and Philly’s knowledge of grooves, that melt into a framework flowing through analog sounds. Expect nothing less then timeless pop. A combination of synthesizer sounds, the melancholic twang of Dariuz vocals and a good sense of arrangement make this an interesting combo that will fit wonderfully into the low-night, no-life golden glow of Drayton Bar. People love the intense colour and fusion of tangy orange, smooth white chocolate flavours, creamy texture and slight bitterness. Although, it looks typically 'girly' this cocktail is for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Constantine

constantine

This cocktail came simply from trying to please a fellow college who was thirsty and did not know what to drink. To shut him up, I created a cocktail with fresh and exotic flavours. Cool cucumber and herbal Chartreuse, tangy pineapple and cool mint. This cocktail went though several names…one being Toilet Breeze, which, for obvious reasons did not stick. Finally, sticking with Constantine, coming from an exclusive event for which this cocktail was used as a signature drink.

Ginger Meringue

IMG_2546_2

This recipe travelled all the way from the other side of the world and landed straight at Drayton with no further delay. Originally created by me in Australia, I simply took some of my favourite flavours and this smooth elegant cocktail was the result. Sharp spiciness of fresh ginger and sweetness of white chocolate on the base of dry gin with a smooth and creamy texture.

Suffering Bastard

sufferingbastard

An instant favourite for anyone trying it for the first time. Not only due to the catchy 'in your face' name (especially loved by all the husbands/boyfriends out there), but also for the mix of sweet brandy and dry gin. Given a little punch with bitters and spiced up lastly with ginger. Those really suffering will no longer feel pain after a punch from this bastard…
